Calderra Fluted Glass and Brass Wall Sconce Integrated LED Slim Light for Bedsides and Mirrors
The Calderra is a vertical column rather than a projecting arm, 4.7 inches square in plan and 19.7 inches tall. That footprint is what makes it usable where a conventional sconce is not: flanking a mirror, either side of a bed, or down a corridor narrow enough that a shaded fitting would catch a shoulder. It reads as a piece of the wall rather than an object attached to it.
The column is fluted glass over an acrylic core, lit from within by an integrated LED. Fluting breaks a single even output into a series of vertical highlights, so the fixture has visible structure when lit instead of appearing as a flat glowing panel. The LED is warm white and sits behind the glass with no exposed socket, which is what produces the low, candle like quality rather than the flat wash a bare downlight gives.
Because the LED is integrated and rated for 30,000 to 50,000 hours, there is no bulb to source, no socket to reach behind the glass, and no colour shift when a replacement bulb turns out to be a different temperature from the original. The standard version is on and off from a wall switch. A Triac version pairs with an ordinary TRIAC wall dimmer, and the driver runs on 110 to 240V, so it is not tied to one mains standard.
